Pepper has a quick temper that she inherited from her mother, leading to quite a few arguments in the Jordan house. She blames herself for her family’s problems, and often backpedals when she thinks her anger has turned someone against her.

Personal History
Priscilla is the daughter of Mark and Andrea Jordan, both civilian physicians. Raised in a small town in rural Virginia, Earth, Pepper enjoyed a relaxed and happy childhood.
Pepper developed an interest in baseball at an early age, participating in school teams during the spring and local youth teams in the summer. At age eleven, she discovered a love of flying after her parents took her on a hang-gliding trip.
HAfter that fateful trip, Pepper threw herself into learning all she could about flight. Eventually, her interest expanded to include combat aviation. Knowing her parents disapproved strongly of the military, she kept the latter to herself.
It was perhaps inevitable that Pepper would choose to become a fighter pilot, but she let her parents believe she would go on to college and perhaps even med school. She enlisted in the Marines at age eighteen, keeping it a secret until she received her official acceptance notice.
The Jordans were furious. Not just because Pepper had joined the military against their wishes, but also that she had done so without their knowledge. After a heated argument, Pepper stormed out of the house. She stayed with friends until time to report to Boot Camp.
At flight school, Pepper befriended fellow ‘nugget’ Jessica “Bluejay” Bleu. The two young women quickly became inseparable. Pepper and Bluejay worked so well together in training that they decided to remain a team after graduation.
During her training, Pepper made repeated attempts to reconcile with her family, to no avail. The Jordans did not attend her graduation from ACS.
Pepper and Bluejay were assigned to the USS Poseidon for their first tour, and have since served with distinction. She was reunited with her father in 2385, and the two have begun to repair their damaged relationship. Her mother had filed for divorce several months previously, and her current whereabouts are unknown.
After the Kell War, Pepper and Bluejay adopted Tali, a Thet infant orphaned by the Kell. Whatever the future might hold, Pepper now has a new family to face it with. Mid 2386, both left Outer Perseus and accepted reassignment under Lt Colonel Stark on the USS Avalon NCC 76262-A.

Psychological Report
I find this Marine to be everything the Corps expects – tough, disciplined, and an expert at her chosen field.
She is also outgoing and quick to make friends. She works well with her fellow trainees, especially her RIO. She has a quick temper, but has so far managed to keep it in check.
Note – I have noticed signs of a romantic relationship between Jordan and her RIO. While this hardly violates regulations, I fear it may eventually compromise their objectivity.
