Personal History
Childhood and adolescence
Being raised by two Starfleet officers, her father an XO on the USS Spartan and her mother a Chief Medical officer on the USS Caretaker, she had an fairly spoiled youth. At a very young age she knew what she wanted. Her own command of a medical ship or at least a chief medical officer. She wanted to make a difference to whomever she treated.
Her
parents were very protective and because of that she had an uneventful
youth. She was a clever student and finished her tasks in noticeable less
time then her classmates.
2378-82
She finished Starfleet Academy with flying colors in 2382 and was assigned to the USS Ramora afterwards where she filled the position of Junior Medical Officer.
2383
She
wanted to specialize further and in 2383 she was transferred to the USS
Castor, a medical ship that was in need of a qualified medical officer
after many of her own were killed during a virus outbreak onboard. She
worked with a broad score of medical experts to contain the outbreak.
This succeeded and she was promoted to Lieutenant Junior Grade.
This
was not enough to sate the young and ambitious woman. She craved for more
knowledge, more experience and more adventure. She requested transfer
to a more remote region of space and was transferred to the USS Swiftsure,
stranded in the Perseus Arm, in 2384. Jadelyn was hand picked by Starfleet
officials to be the perfect choice for the ship because of the need for
experienced and good officers in such remote area of space.
While
her father denies being involved in this, she believes that he might have
pulled some strings to get her to the USS Swiftsure.
