Action Information Display

The AIC or Action Information Center of the USS Poseidon is the tactical center of the flag ship of Carrier Group One and the ideal place to coordinate a task force during an engagement.
It is manned and equipped to collect, evaluate, manage, present, and disseminate information. Some control and coordination functions for the Carrier Group can be delegated to AIC personnel.
Located on Deck 10, it can be accessed by a direct turbolift from the Bridge.

AIC screen

The large wall display allows for unobstructed viewing from every station in the AIC. This screen provides instant access to all information from available sensor platforms.

AIC table

If the wall screen is the eyes of the AIC, the Central Control Panel is the brain. From this console everything from stellar phenomena to possible threat units can be designated and assessed. Simple authorized commands allow for assets to be moved from place to place with relative ease.

AIC stations

The AIC has a few key stations situated on its perimeter. These stations include Sciences, Flight Deck Information, and Engineering. These stations allow for additional monitoring of critical operations during emergencies.
